The Montessori School of Cumming is currently hiring for the position of a toddler teacher's assistant. This position begins in August for the 2015-16 school year. This position will consist of assisting a certified Montessori teacher in a class of 8-15 children ages 15 months - 3 years. It is a fun, but challenging position which requires working closely with the lead teacher as well as the rest of the team.
The ideal candidate will have Montessori experience, and/or a bachelor's degree in the field of education, and be a kind, self motivated, team player with a stable work history. You must be willing to attend a weekend long Montessori assistant's training in August, as well as obtain First-Aid/CPR certification. A fingerprint background check is required.
This is a full time, hourly position M-F, from 7:45 am- 5:00 pm. Pay is $10-$12/hr, based on experience, with the possibility of professional growth and benefits package.
