CGL Facility Management, LLC is a private firm providing comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for both preventive and corrective plumbing maintenance work and minimal installations with our client. This is a full time position, day shift Monday through Friday, but requires on-call availability for certain emergency situations.
Job Description
The skilled plumber will assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, showers, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals and dishwashers. Assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, clay, and plastic using hand and power tools. All work performed must conform to standards per the contractual agreements with the client, as well as CGL standards for quality and accuracy and all OSHA codes and regulations.
Other specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
Must become familiar with the design and layout of the facility.
Complete all documentation required in compliance with CGL's computerized maintenance management system. Excellent plumbing troubleshooting skills.
Need to understand commercial building plumbing systems.
Job Duties:
Preventive and corrective maintenance responsibilities; minimum 5 years maintenance experience in plumbing for commercial environments.
Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
M-F day shift with emergency call-backs sometimes required.
Must be a team player, have strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to succeed while representing our firm with the best possible service to our clients.
Requirements
o Master Plumber License preferred
o Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and extensive criminal background check.
