Daily Requirements and
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement specific programs based on the interests and needs of our residents Create a monthly calendar that offers and array of exciting activity options in and out of the building, and that is always evolving to meet the desires of all residents, new and old Encourage all residents to get involved in events, outings and in-house activities Handle logistics to make all activities possible.
This includes making phone calls, advertising, managing inventory and budgets, and coordinating transportation Welcome each new resident to the community, go over activities and events and help introduce them to their new VAC neighbors Plan socials to give residents the opportunity to learn about each other and develop connections Be actively engaged and involved in all daily activities, including exercise, crafts, games, clubs, and social gatherings Observe residents at each activity or event to gauge their enjoyment and obtain their feedback in order to make necessary improvements Responsible for the oversight of all vendors to ensure that they are following proper VAC protocol and facilitating each activity with our resident's best interests at heart Maintain and organize all Activity Department equipment and supplies Responsible for recruiting, training and motivating volunteers and assistant activity personnel In charge of tracking hours and performance of volunteers and employees based on the activities they conduct and their interaction with the residents Help manage the maintenance of all property vehicles used for Activity Department purposes Job Type:
