We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Accounting Manager. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of our organization. You will be tasked with managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. This position requires deep knowledge of the construction industry, excellent financial acumen, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, including experience with fiscal budgeting, financial reporting, and AIA billing.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to:
accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.2. Manage and supervise accounting department employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership.3. Maintain and oversee all financial procedures and controls in place.4. Prepare and analyze monthly financial and statistical reports to present to senior management.5. Develop and manage the company's fiscal budget.6. Reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain the general ledger, and prepare month-end close procedures.7. Coordinate and complete annual audits.8. Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting.9. Ensure company financial accounts, such as credit cards, are paid on time.10. Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments.11. Manage the AIA billing process, ensuring accuracy, and compliance.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred).2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the construction industry.3. Knowledge of AIA billing, fiscal budgeting, and financial reporting.4. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.5. Proficiency with accounting software, digital tools, and applications.6. Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.9. Thorough knowledge of business principles and best practices.10. Superior attention to detail with an ability to analyze and use data for strategic planning.11. Strong skills in mathematics, analytics, and problem-solving.12.
